Jeff Urgo, CEO
Jeff Urgo is a seasoned entrepreneur with thirty-five years in the automotive and online media sectors. As CEO of AutoMarketingTeam.com and Managing Partner at Ergo Ventures & Advisers, he focuses on creating scalable SaaS platforms for the automotive and real estate industries. Jeff transformed the Gannett/LocaliQ Automotive from a traditional print to a $30M+ digital media business between 2018-2022. His expertise spans developing new revenue models, building sales teams, and growing substantial media businesses. Notably, Jeff was instrumental in the Cars.com sales team development for Tribune Company and launched a successful auto photo publication with Chicago Tribune Company in 1993. His career began in a Ford dealership, culminating in a General Manager position, demonstrating his comprehensive industry knowledge from ground-level operations to executive management. Linkedin
Tim Landon, Partner
Born in Buffalo, Future Farmer of America, graduate of the University of Chicago, Tim led building Apartments.com, Cars.com, & CareerBuilder.com. He is a Partner at Ergo Ventures & Advisers. Tim is a member of the board of directors of American Public Education, Inc. (NASDAQ: APEI), a leading provider of online post-secondary education focused primarily on serving the military, nursing and health care, and public service-oriented communities.
Tim oversees Ergo Advisers’ investments and operations in AutoMarketingTeam.com, LESA Automotive, and SmartReal.com. The businesses provide specialized vertical SaaS applications through the integration of hardware, software, logistics, and services to deliver digital video, photography, and 3D imaging to auto dealers and real estate agents. Randall Ryan – VP of Operations
Randall brings with him over 20 years of experience in Software Engineering and Digital Strategy. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of South Carolina before earning his Masters in Information Systems from Nova University. He began his career as a software developer and since then has served and managed in almost every position on various software development and digital marketing teams.
Randall has focused his career on enhancing his skills at Digital Strategy and Marketing. For the last 7 years he has served as the VP of Digital Strategy for Morris Communications, GateHouse Media, and most recently Gannett.
Randall is excited to join the Auto Marketing Team with a wealth of knowledge that he has learned over the last 5 years working directly with large Automotive Marketing clients. Linkedin
Tony Giampietro – AVP – Mid-Atlantic Region
Tony Giampietro, a resident of Collegeville PA, leads the company’s Mid-Atlantic operations, with responsibility for business development. He also oversees the company’s ongoing expansion efforts into emerging markets. Before joining The Auto Marketing Team this year, he served as Senior Regional Director with LOCALiQ Auto.
Tony started his marketing career in 1996 after working in the retail side of auto for 5 years. His love for both marketing as well as the auto industry has led him to this opportunity. Having a strong knowledge of how to properly apply marketing principles to deliver maximum ROI has made him, and more important his clients, so successful.
His claim to fame is having a knack to generate better results at a lower cost per acquisition for his advertisers. When asked why that is something that he is so laser focused on, Tony said “We all know the importance of advertising. All forms of media work, to some degree. Some simply work better than others. This is caused by the ever-changing landscape of marketing, industries, and shopping behaviors. Campaigns need constant monitoring which too often, is not the level of service that many agencies provide. The entire Team at AMT is committed to be the best in class and deliver on that. We only win when our clients win.”

Roberto Girardi – Regional Director – Chicago Region
Roberto’s passion for the automotive industry is a culmination of having worked on both the retail and vendor sides of the business over the last 30 + years.
He was an early adapter of online marketing working directly with then Classified Ventures as an integral part of the team introducing Cars.com to the Chicagoland area. He has since focused his energy and enthusiasm introducing dealerships to inventory management and marketing solutions, VIN specific videos, and communication platforms. His strength lies in the ability to listen, understand, and deliver solutions to his customers.
